Fees
For Therapy:
$275 per 50-minute session or $440 for 80-minute session
Reduced Fee
I have a limited number of sliding scale appointment slots. Sliding scale appointment slots reduce to $150/50 minutes, depending on your income. Income verification may be required. Currently these slots are full.
Payment
Cash, check, PayPal, and credit card are accepted for payment.
insurance
I am not contracted with any traditional insurance companies.
However, certain health insurance policies may provide some coverage for “out of network” mental health treatment, others may not. Some may have a deductible that must be met before the insurance benefit begins, others may not.
My services are provided and charged to you, not to your insurance company, so you are responsible for payment for each session at the time it is held. Insurance company determinations and reimbursement occurs after you have paid for clinical services. Please note that many insurance companies that provide reimbursement will only reimburse you for a portion of the fee you have paid for services.
At the outset of therapy, it is important for you to find out exactly what mental health services your insurance company covers by asking them:
1. Whether or not they pay for “out of network” providers
2. How much they pay
In turn, I will complete statements for services which will include the information you need to receive these benefits.
Session Frequency & Cancellation Policy
At the outset of therapy we will work together to determine a time that works for both of us, at weekly or greater frequency. This time will be reserved for you and you will be financially responsible for your session fee for that time, unless I am away from the office. Often, rescheduling is possible if requested.
